Data we collect

FLYDATES does not require an account and does not collect direct identity information to run a flight search. The following data may nonetheless be processed:

• Technical data: browser type, operating system, device used.
• IP address, where applicable (e.g. technical logs from the server or hosting provider).
• Browsing data: pages visited, actions taken on the site (e.g. clicking "View offer").
• Search criteria entered in the form: cities/airports, date range, stay length, number of travelers, currency — needed to query flight providers and display results.

How this data is used

• To provide the flight search and comparison service.
• To operate and secure the site.
• Where applicable, and only with your consent, to display advertising (Google AdSense) and measure its performance.

Flight data providers

To search prices and availability, FLYDATES sends its technical flight-search providers the criteria of your search (airports, dates, number of passengers, currency). These providers do not know your identity at the time of the search.

Affiliate links

FLYDATES participates in an affiliate program (Aviasales/Travelpayouts network). When you click "View offer", you are redirected to a third-party partner's site. FLYDATES may earn a commission on bookings made through this link, with no impact on the price you pay. The partner site applies its own privacy policy, independent of FLYDATES's.

Google AdSense and advertising

FLYDATES may display advertising provided by Google AdSense.

Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads.

These ads may be personalized or non-personalized depending on your settings and the consent you gave via FLYDATES's cookie banner.

You can manage your personalized ad settings through the tools provided by Google (Google Ads Settings).

FLYDATES does not collect or control the data Google gathers as part of its own advertising services; for more information, see Google's privacy policy.

Audience measurement (analytics)

FLYDATES uses Google Analytics to measure site traffic (pages visited, traffic source, device used). This tool is only enabled with your explicit consent ("analytics" category in the cookie banner) and never loads without that agreement.

Retention period

• Search results: stored temporarily in server memory, tied to a random search identifier not linked to your identity, for the time it takes to view your results. They are not currently stored in a permanent database.
• Cookie preferences: stored in your browser (local storage) until you change them or clear this site's data.
• Any technical logs (e.g. IP address): kept for as long as needed for the security and proper operation of the service, in line with the hosting provider's practices.

Your rights

Depending on the regulations applicable in your country of residence (for example, the GDPR within the European Union), you may have a right of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing, and data portability, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time.
